The Reference Model

After a year of investigation, the Network partners have produced a proposal of the reference model. The Workshop will be the opportunity to consolidate and improve the proposed reference model in cooperation with representatives from academia and industry. The reference model report will provide the European Commission with useful input while preparing its future plans on digital libraries.

Workshop Venue
The Villa Grazioli is some 40 minutes south of Rome.  It was constructed in 1580 near the top of the Tusculum Hill and the views of Rome and the surrounding areas are said to be spectacular.  In 1776 the old 15th century building was thoroughly reconstructed in form and size. Today, Villa Grazioli is an Italian National monument and hotel withimpressive halls, frescoes and restored gardens.
