I am senior researcher at Istituto della Scienza e Tecnologie della Informazione (ISTI) of Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR) in Pisa. I belong to the Networked Multimedia Information Systems laboratory of my Institute, and I do research and projects in the area of Digital Libraries and Distributed Information Systems in general. My area of expertise is Information Access. Currently, I am involved in the BRICKS Project (www.brickscommunity.org) and in the DELOS NoE.
